My heart couldn't be any fuller...
As always, Eric and the kiddos outdid themselves this Mother's Day.
Breakfast in bed before church. The best part, the kids joined me this year... loved that.

Relaxing after church on the Adirondack chair with a refreshing drink....

...while Lucas sits here across from me. I couldn't help but CRACK up at him and how silly he looked. (Mind you...his shorts are size 3T...)
Eric grilled some delicious steaks and prepared the most scrumptious sides to go with it.
We enjoyed lunch outside under the shade of the umbrella...
...pretty much perfect if you ask me.
Not pictured: a nice long nap, a good hour of reading my latest book, dinner at 10 West, and watching Amazing Race alongside Eric with a big piece of carrot cake in my hand. Spoiled rotten I tell you.
The very best part of the day though, was just being around Eric and the kids. Eric asked if I wanted to go out and get some time to myself and honestly, it sounded fun... but spending time with Eric and the kids is truly what makes me the happiest. And I have to say, Eric doesn't just spoil me on MD. Things that went down today are things quite common on a regular basis.
Thankful to be their mom.
And thankful to be his wife.

this made me so so happy to read. good work mr. bland. you have a very special family, min….and your kids are so sweet because they see great examples in you and EB. (sam still talks about how sophie had a certain Thomas track…? i hope he's smitten).
