Together.

Sure lovin' some major downtime lately with these sweeties...

Kiddos had a blast helping me hang laundry...
...it was like an assembly line!

Yay!  Nali spent the weekend with us!

The kiddos also helped get these beauties in pots.

Cancelled soccer practice = Mommy Lucas date at Starbucks
(We played War.  He won.)
And this little fella...well, he just spends most of his day climbing anything in sight.

Out for a walk with my superhero and baby.

1st Grade Program

Last Thursday we were invited to Lucas's school to watch the 1st-2nd grade musical program/Art Fair.  Lucas showed us his research project he created on the narwhal.  We were quite impressed!

The kiddos sang 5 songs about being healthy... man, each one had such a catchy tune-- almost one week later I'm STILL singing them!  By the way, the kids were asked to wear workout or sports clothes... well, that made finding an appropriate outfit pretty easy for Lucas. : )

Lucas was front and center in the OSU jersey.  Eric and I were SO nervous for the first 3 songs.  Lucas looked incredibly nervous... we actually thought he was going to get sick.  But he did great.  Near the end he, along with some of his classmates, had a speaking part.  So fun to see him up there!

...check out the yawn.... haha!!!
*I'm having issues with uploading videos.  Sorry it seems so far away!

So proud of this kiddo.  He was definitely out of his comfort zone but did GREAT.

This face.

If I had a gazillion hours in the day, I'd choose to just take pics of this baby's face all day long....
...just to capture his pure sweetness...

Easter 2014

We celebrated Easter this year in Ohio once again and made some wonderful memories with the kiddos and our family.  I love how each year the kiddos grow in their understanding of what Easter is all about.  I also love how our church makes it such a priority in the kids' curriculum to teach the Easter story, in ways that the kids can really grasp and understand.  Pretty cool to have real conversations with the kiddos this past week about what Easter is all about....

**I am fully aware that I posted nearly 100 pics on this post.  I. Can't. Help. It.

A gator ride to the woods with this crew was just what the Dr. ordered...

Missing lots of great-grandkids (There are nearly 20 of em!) but still had a good representation!

Love this tie!!  Thanks Grandma!
(PS- He wanted to wear it to school Monday!)

Chillaxin'

The three of us have been on MANY walks lately with the trusty double stroller...

...and this is how Brady chooses to spend his time strollin'.  Love those little feet up there!!
P.S.  There was a time I doubted the need for this double stroller.  So thankful we got it.... it's sure getting lots of use these days.
