Big helpers in the garden...

This past week we began working in the garden-- thankfully we had lots of helping hands!

We just planted our seeds for now... so far we've done watermelon, cucumber, lettuce, carrots, peas, and green beans.  We still have our peppers and tomatoes to plant.  Lots of fun!!!

Now, who wants to come over for two weeks in July to water our garden when we're in Montana???? 

New Toy...

My hubbster outdid himself... and bought me a pretty sa-weet camera for my birthday/Mother's Day... so I've been playing around....just a little bit... and capturing pics of my favorite subjects.

Mother's Day 2013

I had a wonderful Mother's Day, thanks to these three darlin's.

Breakfast in bed, off to church, and brunch at one of my faves-- Original Pancake House!  Believe it or not, the wait wasn't even too long!

 **Side note: Lucas reads his own menus these days... what?!? 

Naps, playtime outside with the kiddos, and just being together... pretty perfect I'd say.  Being a mom to these two munchkins is the best job in the world, no doubt.  So thankful for my sweet family...

Saturday morning we bundled up (46 degrees!!) and headed out to watch Lucas's baseball game.  Mom was in town for a few days so she got to join us which was super fun!

Tooth #2!

Earlier this week Lucas lost his second tooth!!  He pulled it himself! (Good thing too.... he already has an adult one coming in behind it!)

Before going to bed (with NO prompting!) he decided to write the tooth fairy this note.  He taped it to his bunkbed himself, too.

Baseball in Full Force!

Lucas's baseball season was kicked off last Saturday with his first game:  Ironpigs vs. Seadogs.

Speaking of baseball, the boys have now been to two Indy Indians games, and the girls have been to one.  Last Friday we all went with Paul and Jacque and had a great evening at the ballpark.

PS-- this could very well be the one and only pic of the baby bump in the last 8 months... just realized this.

For some reason, Sophie was crazy hyper at this game.... and didn't let up until about 10 PM!
