It's been a rainy dreary weekend. Yesterday Lucas was convinced that he was going to play baseball outside. He set up his bases in the screened-in porch and played his game. That's not the first time he did that in the rain. Another reason why we LOVE our porch.
But this IS a first. Weeks ago, Lucas saw Eric chopping wood and he requested to keep the outside bark that fell off. Eric wasn't quite sure why...until he saw Lucas put it to use.
Here's Lucas, with his new leg guards to complete his catcher's uniform. Who would have thought of that? Noone but our Lucas.
