Spring Storms...

We had a pretty decent thunderstorm the other night. The timing of it wasn't really great considering Sophie had just gone to bed and Lucas was getting read to. Lots of rain, lots of thunder and lightning, and tornado warning sirens going off for 15 straight minutes. We were safe and sound and surprisingly enough, Sophie never woke up! Lucas was scared but at the same time, wanted to see what it was like outside. We stood in the screened-in porch for a bit looking at the hail which was collecting like big snowballs on the ground. It was too dark for a picture but it looked as if it has snowed several inches by the time it was all said and done. Here's a pic Eric took of one of the hail stones. I just love spring storms... while scary at times (especially since we don't have a basement!) I love the sound of the rain and thunder.
