Sophie's recent favorites: copying most everything Lucas does and says, swimming and "going under!", looking at books by herself, swinging, playing in the sandbox, dogs, pretending to be a dog, going to Daddy's football practices, dancing, climbing trees, pickles, and cottage cheese.
Other Noteables: Potty training is going....so-so. She spends her days without diapers or pull ups, but also has a couple accidents most days. Hoping this gets better soon! Sophie isn't really into pedalling her tricycle yet so Dr. H said we need to work on that. Also, Sophie tends to attract mosquitos it seems. She came home from both Montana and Missouri with an incredible amount of mosquito bites. Unfortunately, she likes to itch them until they bleed... : ( Currently, we're trying hydrocortizone and oatmeal baths to help with this. Dr. Harper's advice? Prevent the bites in the first place with spray before going outside. Hmm... I guess we should do better at that. (He's so smart.)
Last but not least...I've decided to attach one picture from the last twelve months to document her growth and stages... it was sure hard to pick my favorite from each month but this is what I came up with:

...remembering the call we received... that Sophie had run into a park bench at school and hurt herself pretty badly... such a hard thing to watch her in so much pain- but thankful she healed quickly.
