My idea of a perfect weekend is beautiful weather, time outside, and time spent with family. We soaked in all three this past weekend!
Nali and Uncle Greg came to visit!!
Nali was a wonderful help to me and helped me plant my new rose bush. I also got my impatiens and marigolds planted too!
Sophie, after waking up from her 4+ hour nap. Life is tough for this 2 year old. :)
Eric tilled up the garden and flower beds for me today with our new tiller that he got!! After much time and energy spent fixing it (Eric, not me) it works like a charm!!
By this point in the day I was starting to get worn out. I took this picture while laying on the grass with my head resting on the potting soil bag. Very comfy!

And of course, every weekend night needs at least one bonfire!!! We LOVE our bonfires!

Thanks for making the LONG trip over to see us. We all had such a great time, and thanks so much for your help in and around the house. :) Hope you can come back again soon!

Yes, we had an absolutely marvelous time, too. Thank you for letting me help...loved it. Hope the rose bush survives :)
The G mentioned several times what a good trip this was (for him, that is a rave :) He absolutely loved all the XOXOs he got.
