4H Fair

We spent the afternoon and evening at the Hamilton County 4H Fair...which could be very close to being cooler than going to the zoo!!!  They kids saw all kinds of animals and were able to pet most of them...

Sophie's favorite-- the cows!
 The goats...

Check out Sophie's expression in the video below... and then Lucas' reaction.
The baby chicks...
 The bunnies...

Not a great picture in a photographic sense... but love that Lucas is leading her along.  I mentioned not to put your fingers in the chickens' cages so Lucas was quite protective of her, making sure she didn't come even close to the cages.

The piggies (or diggies as Lucas used to call them)...
And the stinkiest barn of all... the llama barn.  We came just in time to see the llama jumping contest.  Hilarious!  Just like how they have horses jump poles, they did that with these llamas.  Once they passed one level they raised it up.  Man those llamas could jump!  As we were leaving they were getting ready for Llama Limbo.  Haha!
Of course, it's not a fair without seeing the tractors.  Lucas remembered seeing these tractors last year so he was pretty excited about it.

And of course we enjoyed pork sandwiches and corn on the cob.  Delish!!
See you again next year, Hamilton County Fair!
