Day 6

Yesterday was just one of those days where you almost feel guilty being inside... the sun was shining all day, and it was warm enough to open the windows and break out the short sleeves...

...and snow shovels...

 After naps we packed everyone up in the car, including a big hearty picnic, and headed to Cool Creek Park.  The kiddos played on the playground there for over an hour with the Bloss kiddos, while the big boys got the meat on the grill and prepped our dinner. 

The kids had a ball exploring through the woods... some favorite activities included dragging big tree branches around, playing follow the leader, discovering holes in trees, and walking across fallen logs. 

I'm thinking this isn't the last time we'll visit this picnic spot this year.
