**This post is a sequel to the previous post**
It was at about this very exact moment, that my heart overflowed with love for this sweet little one.
There's just no other feeling like it.
So grateful for the opportunity to be this precious baby boy's mom.
And one of my absolute favorite parts of being a mom.... watching these three together.
Top 10 "notables" of your first year, Brady! (in no particular order)
1. Going from 6 lbs. to 17 lb 12 oz! I'd say that's an accomplishment! :) Love my little peanut!
2. Traveling to Montana at the whopping age of one month! You rocked it, Little One. There aren't too many babies who have those bragging rights!
3. While it took 11 months, you are NOW sleeping completely through the night. Don't worry, I was okay with those nighttime feedings. It was our special time.
4. Learning to crawl around 6 months and learning to walk at around 10 months! You're a "go-getter", that's for sure.
5. Mommy was able to successfully nurse you through your first year, plus some! You haven't enjoyed the bottle though, but recently you're starting to drink whole milk in a cup.
6. You met all nine of your first cousins and most of your second cousins in your first two months (thanks to trips to Missouri, Montana, and Ohio).
7. Your favorite things: pacis, climbing, hiding behind curtains, stroller rides, Cheerios, the ceiling fan, being chased, the vacuum cleaner, things that crunch or make noise, being held, watching Daddy mow lawn, and dunking your head in water.
8. Your least favorite things: diaper changes, siblings taking toys away from you, taking naps at church, long car rides, staying up past your bedtime (7:00), and taking bottles.
9. You are a magnificent napper. After nursing you, all I have to do is lay you down on your tummy and you sleep...sometimes for 2+ hours...twice a day. Sometimes I really get to missing you and am tempted to wake you up. :)
10. You eat everything we put in front of you. So far, there are no foods that you refuse to eat, which makes it super fun to feed you. We often can't keep up with putting food on your tray and you squeal pretty loudly at us to "Hurry up!"
One year stats:
Weight: 17 lb 12 oz. (5%)
Height: 28 7/8 in. (5-10%)
Diapers: Size 3
Clothes: 9-12 month/12 month
Shoes: Size 4 (We just ordered his first pair of shoes!)
