4 months! (Oct. 1st)

Let's begin with a little game... which pic is Lucas at 4 months and which is Brady?

(Answer at bottom of post!)

And just for the fun of it...here's Soph at 4 months...
Ah....the brown eyes...and chubby cheeks... that's my little girl.

Brady at 4 months:

weight: 13 lb 4 oz. (10th %)
height:  24 1/4 in.
clothes:  both 0-3 months and 3-6 months...depends on the outfit
diaper size:  1's...but moving to 2's very soon (he could have easily been in 2's weeks ago...)

Typical Schedule: Brady is rockin' a great schedule these days.  He wakes up around 7:30ish and nurses about every 3 hours throughout the day (8:30/11:30/2:30/5:30/8:30).  After nursing, he stays awake for about 30-45 minutes then is ready for a nap.  I know he's tired when he starts to "bark" a bit or turns his head to the side.  He's taking his naps these days in the swing (see below) swaddled up with two blankets by his head, the swing on low, and two sound machines going on either side of him.  Once I put in the paci he almost immediately falls asleep. He'll nap for about an hour or so at a time.

In the afternoon he'll take a longer nap (1 1/2-2 hours).  In the evening I'll nurse him around 8:30 and then off to bed he goes.  He's sleeping in the pack-n-play in our bedroom.  He sleeps well until about midnight and then for the next several (5ish!) hours he wakes up A LOT.  This is a new predicament that we're in as of 2 weeks ago...before that he was sleeping through the night and waking just once.  We're not sure what's going on but trying a few different things (swaddling...sleeping on tummy vs. back...paci/no paci...).  We're hoping this little bump in the road doesn't last too long.  It's been pretty frustrating... : /

Personality:  Brady wakes up so happy and full of smiles in the mornings.  Sure makes it easy to roll out of bed.  He "chats" to the teddy bears in the mobile...and I try to just watch from the distance... it's too cute. He breaks out into the biggest smile when he sees faces...especially familiar ones.
He very rarely cries and when he does it almost always means he's tired.  (or when he's in his car seat!)  I'm not afraid to go places with him and often wear him in the Bjorn or Moby.  He's not a huge fan of stroller rides for some reason but thankfully does well in the carrier/wrap.

Lucas and Sophie continue to love on Brady and there really isn't much else that melts my heart more than that... it's so umprompted... and out of genuine love and care.  They both jump at any opportunity that involves Brady- getting pacis, burp rags, "babysitting" Brady while we're out of the room...

We sure love this little babe...
(but oh how much I want/need for time to slow way down!)

Answer:  1st pic-Lucas!  2nd pic-Brady!
