2 months and counting...

Our little bundle of JOY is 2 months old today!
 10 lbs. 3 oz. (5-10%)
Size 1 diapers/0-3 month clothes

Mornings are my favorite time with Brady.... he wakes up super smiley and coos and coos...
There's no other sound quite like it.

Brady cooing...
Brady chattin'...

Brady also likes to do the "angry eyebrow" look but I have a feeling it's not because he's angry but because he's deep in thought... trying to figure out what's going on around him.  I haven't snapped a pic of it... but the one below is close.

Brady has had the privilege of travelling all over the country during his first two months... he's been to Ohio and Illinois a couple times, Missouri, Colorado, and the great state of Montana.  He's also been on four flights and road trips via the car totaling about 22 hours.  He's proven to be a great traveler for the most part... you can't blame him for getting fussy in his car seat when he's strapped to it for long periods of time. :)

Here are my favorite pics of Brady from our time in Montana... Missouri pictures are on my phone...
(which means, Eric needs to upload them for me)

Brady's Schedule:  Well, there isn't much of one.  He nurses about every 3-4ish hours... takes naps in between... and is awake a few chunks of times a day.  Brady's not doing too many long stretches of sleep time at night yet - occasionally he'll go 5 hours but not too often.  I'll admit, it's a little bit of a bummer because both Sophie and Lucas were sleeping through the night at this age.  Upside though... other than the times he doesn't want to go back to sleep... he's as charming as can be in the middle of the night.  That's when we have our heart-to-heart chats.  : )

Other tidbits:
  • Brady has been fortunate to be born right at the beginning of the summer.  That means Eric and I are both around, 24/7.  It's been quite a blessing because Brady LOVES to be held and rarely sleeps during the day when we lay him down.  He's our little snug-bug...
  • Up until this point Brady has spent most nights sleeping in the bouncy seat mostly due to the major spit-up he had the first 6 weeks of his life.  We were just too nervous to have him sleeping flat on his back for fear that he'd choke.  Now that he isn't spitting up like he used to, we're starting to transition him to the pack-n-play (with the bassinet).
  • Brady has had the wonderful privilege of meeting every single one of his first cousins already, thanks to trips to Missouri and Montana.
  • Lucas and Sophie continue to love on Brady every day.  They love to get right up close and give him hugs and kisses and talk real sweet to him.  There's nothing better to experience than that right there...
So thankful for this little snuggle bug that God has blessed us with... Eric and I will both admit that having three kids certainly has its challenges but we are so grateful for our kids health and the opportunity we have to love and raise them... and watch them grow each day.  So... thankful.
