Kid Updates...

New updates for a New Year:

Brady (19 months today!):

Likes: squealing, wrestling, climbing up into his high chair, pointing at things in books, tricycle rides, frozen vegetables, drinking from a straw, destroying forts

Loves: his paci, mimicking people, trains at Grandma and Grandpa's house, being chased, playing with his siblings

Currently learning: how to talk (boy, he's picked up a lot lately!), signing, naming/pointing to parts of his body, blowing his nose, what "no" means (ie: his boundaries)

Lucas (age 8):

Likes: Legos, helping Sophie assemble her Legos, his new pitching machine, board/card games, mint chocolate chip ice cream, peppermint hot chocolate, his new BB gun, making forts

Loves: reading, sports statistics, creating various stadiums out of various objects (blocks, blankets, pillows, etc.), anything/everything sports related, not wearing a shirt, playing with his siblings

Currently learning: multiplication, cursive handwriting, to read/comprehend chapter books, how to shoot a BB gun,

Sophie (age 5):

Likes: games, wearing her robe/slippers, homework, coloring, very long baths, singing Christmas Carols (she knows all the words!), making forts

Loves: reading, playing teacher, doggies, pretending she's various animals, wagging her "tail", saying words with "ar" in them like a pirate, playing with her siblings

Currently learning: to read basic words, how to assemble Legos using directions,

I'm-a-back! (for now at least!)

Um, yeah, life has just been busy. Just no time these days to update our blog.

But life is still happening.

And it's a beautiful season that we're in.

Here's the latest:

I definitely remember doing this with Zach at home growing up... love that the kids were so excited about it too.

Eric and I said good-bye to the Mazda a few weeks back.

A lot of life happened in that car... our first big purchase together after marriage, driving to/from my first real job, trips to OH, MI, and MO, bringing Lucas home from the hospital when he was born, etc.
